The SNPI Innovation Trophy will reward the company project rather than the innovation itself. The jury will focus on assessing the project's potential, the quality of the team, and the value of the solution.

 Aim of the competition

The aim of the SNPI Innovation Trophy is to highlight the dynamism of the property sector by showcasing the most innovative initiatives. 
The competition rewards not just an idea, but a business project as a whole. The jury will carefully assess the potential for development, the strength of the team and the relevance of the proposed solution.   
After meeting the candidate exhibitors, the jury will select the winner at an official ceremony attended by the press and many industry professionals. The prize will be presented by the President of the SNPI in person.

  • Closing date of the competition: Monday, September 21 2026 
  • Date on which the 8 finalists will be presented to the jury: Wednesday, October 14 2026 from 14:00 to 17:00 
  • Presentation of the 2 or 3 finalists, who will be chosen by the public during a pitch in one of the conference rooms: Wednesday, November 4 2026 
  • Date on which the prize will be awarded: Wednesday, November 4 2026, during the RENT Show
🎯 Who can compete?

Competition reserved for exhibitors at the show

French or foreign companies exhibiting at RENT. The innovation must be operational at the time the application is submitted. The innovation must concern a service for property professionals (estate agents, property managers, developers, commercial property) and relate to the marketing or management of property. The selection committee and jury have full discretion.

The Jury

At the head of this exceptional jury: Alain Duffoux, President of SNPI, surrounded by experts, entrepreneurs and financiers representing the major real estate professions :

The rest of the Jury will be arriving very shortly, but together they will have the task of choosing the most promising business project in the sector.

The prize-giving ceremony 
The winner of the competition will be awarded the prize in the presence of the press and property professionals. The winner will have the opportunity to present his or her project to the SNPI committee at a special session reserved for this purpose, and to present his or her products and services to the SNPI's partners at an exclusive event. The winner will be announced and the prize awarded at the RENT Paris show on Wednesday, November 4 2026.

The Award Package
The winner will benefit from tailored support and several unique opportunities for visibility and networking, both in France and internationally: 
✅ Presentation at the CEPI Congress (June 2027): A dedicated presentation (pitch, booth, or another suitable format) before an audience of European real estate decision-makers 
✅ Or speaking engagement at a CEPI Board Meeting in Brussels (2027): A more institutional format, ideal for projects with a strong regulatory or strategic focus 
✅ Presentation to our experts: In Paris or during an annual seminar abroad – a special opportunity to engage with industry leaders.


 Competition process

The selection of the winner takes place in four stages:

 

Submission of a file

Candidate companies submit their preliminary presentation files on paris.rent.immo. They then receive a link to answer questions in video format, and these materials must be received by Monday, September 21, 2026.   

 

Selection of the finalists

The jury reviews the applications and selects the eight finalists who will be invited to the public presentation on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

 

Presentation and pitchs

On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, each finalist will pitch for 15 minutes and answer questions from the jury, who will deliberate after these presentations. This stage will take place from 2 PM to 5 PM and will be followed by a cocktail.   

 

The pitch of the finalists

The last 2 finalists will pitch on Wednesday, November 4 during the RENT Expo in the Pitch Zone, and the audience will be able to vote to decide between the 2 finalists.

To designate the winner of this competition and the most promising business project, we have formed an ad-hoc jury composed of experts, entrepreneurs, and financiers, covering the main professions in the real estate industry.
